ok first i have applyed for an account at nyx
and have sent proof of id but as of yet still not
got access to the news groups... that is ok i understand the
way these voliteer things work and appreciate all the work you all do.

but my question, once i do have access, is can we use off line news
readers, to minimize time online, such as forte' or such.. or do we
have to use nn/tin/ect.... and be on line the whole time.
is this considered a bot?

ok so my next question is if off line readers are ok what settings
is needed for access to the news group, address or ports or what????

thanks

I processed all the validation forms in the mail on Friday.
If you are still not validated, drop me a note.

There is a way to read nyx.* groups offline, if you are a
Nyx user. However, all other groups must be read online.

Well, no.

I'd suggest that you use feedback to ask this on Nyx.
