Hello!

So the CIFC has asked each fellowship to donate around $100-$200 from each fellowship to sponsor the Veritas Forum in lieu of Agape Week (the money needed for this event is much more urgent). What do you guys think?

They also asked on Thursday if we would want to be involved. That is, it would mean asking our members to hand out flyers and surveys to their friends. 

Please respond ASAP. They need to fundraise by March 5th!

Dear Team Jesus,


We need your help. We are facing a budgetary problem with the expenses for the Veritas Forum event coming up on March 5. Therefore, my request to you is that you would partner with us to fulfill the expense threshold.

We are about $1500 dollars short of the total payment to Skirball. We would need $100-200 per fellowship in order to cover the total costs.

I understand that this is a late request. However, I compel you to unite in this final stretch not for my sake or the Veritas Forum sake, but for the sake of those who will hear the Gospel preached & come to the knowledge of Jesus.

The budgetary problems are arising from a delayed and short funding from the Veritas forum national organization & lack of communication from other fundraising sources. Please consider this request & get back to Patrick or myself by midweek latest or as soon as possible.

Yeah I def think we should donate however much we can afford to?
I don't have any idea how much our budget is so I guess Chan can tell us how much we will be able to!

We have an excess of $1506.87 from last semester and $1913.00 for the upcoming semester, just to update you guys. As for whether we want to/should spend more money, I can let you know in better detail by Wednesday. I'll get in touch with whoever and agree to cosponsor $200. I think we could afford to donate more; thoughts?

We have $100 budgeted for the Veritas forum
But some other upcoming events (for the Spring) to remember I guess, that we're budgeted for:
Outreach: $200
Club fair (we didn't attend): $50
Sr Banquet: $900
Large Group: $1000
