LG + Meeting Up

Hey guys,

Happy Monday, hope y'all are having a good start to the week.

Wanted to give everyone a heads up that there's going to be a change for LG this week. Originally we had planned for a sermon to be given on Mark 13, but Kevin will be giving this sermon on Senior Night, so we'll need to figure out what we're going to be doing for this week.

With that said, let's all meet up tomorrow after training to plan out LG for this week. Encourage y'all to think about where our fellowship's at and what we can do in response to that and we'll gather and discuss tomorrow.

- if anyone is interested in joining Christian inter-fellowship

- AACF saturday night outreach, discussing human-trafficking from a
spiritual perspective. Lisa Kim from Nomi Network and Abraham Lee from
the US Dept of State will be speaking
- tuesday morning prayer 8am, GCASL 475
- saturday morning prayer
- wednesday night prayer at church office

Hey y'all,

When praying this morning, the Lord put "courage" in my mind. And so,
I spent some of the morning praying through that, and tonight praying
through that...and I believe God wants us to have courage because it
is the power of His spirit that dwells within us. When I first prayed
through courage, evangelism/outreach came to mind, but then I think
God showed me even more of what He means by courage. He means
anticipating Him to answer when we pray, knowing that He literally
hears all of our prayers, and that our prayers shift the atmosphere.
But also, the courage to let go of our lives, our futures, whatever is
in our hands, and give it to Him, so that we can receive from Him. I
know that is a lot of things, but I think they all go hand in hand,
and it takes courage to do all of those things.

Hello hello,

So while meditating and spending time in the word & prayer, God kept impressing my heart the phrase "Oh taste and see that the Lord is good!" This verse is from Psalm 34, which is also referenced a couple of times in 1 Peter as well. I feel like God is calling us as a fellowship back to the place of experiencing the goodness of God firsthand. He's inviting us to come and literally taste His goodness; let's pray that we as a fellowship would come wanting that taste and knowing that God wants that for us infinitely more than we do. Let's pray that God would soften our hearts, open our eyes and ears and hands to receive/experience Him. 

That's a bit of a jumble, but I'm sure as everyone's responses come in, we'll all condense it.

Throughout this whole semester, God has really been putting inner healing on my heart. He seriously wants to take all the things that caused people pain from their childhood to now, and just restore the heart. Whatever caused an insecurity to form or an inner fear or an addiction, God wants to heal that. Especially pertaining to the family.

Steadfastness & eternity-mindedness came to mind. That is, to remain zealous & warm-hearted in the pursuit of God even when feelings & willpower wane, and even when this one "ministry year" comes to a close.
