Fundraising for the New York City Urban Project Spring Break

Hey guys! I'm sending out this email to all my close brothers and
sisters in Christ, and I wanted to let you guys know what I am doing
this spring break. The email is below!

Brothers and sisters,

I plan on going to the New York City Urban Project's Plunge Spring
Break, which is connected to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. As a
group, we are going to learn about systemic injustice, racial
reconciliation, poverty, class and culture. We will learn about this
through prayer, bible study and direct service. We will feed the
homeless and fight sex-trafficking and labor slavery, and ultimately,
the purpose is to further understand the heart of God and serve our
community in New York City.

I need to raise $400 by March 18 in order to cover my housing and food
for the week. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Your
contributions will not go to waste, they will go towards furthering
the Kingdom of God.

Checks should be made out to “INTERVARSITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP” with
“NYCUP” in the memo, and cash is also accepted.

Thanks again for reading through this letter, and I appreciate any
contribution you make. Anything and everything is helpful. If you
cannot donate, your prayers are just as meaningful :)
