Emails: Agape Week, Ice Cream Social, AACF Outreach Event

Hey guys...

There's a lot in this email! I apologize ahead of time...but please read, it's all important :) 

First off: Esther is going to send an email about Agape Week next week, with sign up sheet for volunteers! She has the email already, and there will be an infographic circulating around with info about Agape Week.

Secondly: Cathy Lee, the outreach coordinator for AACF asked me to send an email to all of RCF to invite their friends to one of their big outreach events. It's April 20th (Saturday). This is the description of the event that she sent me:

"There are an estimated 27+ million people in slavery today, through trafficking, child labor, and debt bondage. In fact, most of the electronics, coffee, chocolate, sugar, and cotton we buy is partially produced through slave labor. This event, as a part of Asian Heritage Month, explores the intersection of many students' Asian identities and this social justice. Specifically, through student and guest speakers (from the Nomi Network and U.S. Department of State) and discussion groups, we hope to bring together many clubs and define what modern day slavery looks like, the situation in Asia, and how we can respond to make change as students. There will also be the opportunity for students to explore the spiritual side of the issue. Dinner will be served."

• 1. Can Esther send out an email for this (after Agape Week)?
• 2. After Agape Week, can we go to it/encourage others to go and bring friends? People will go and bring friends when they see leaders doing so! Also, it will be a good opportunity for us to work with another fellowship to share the gospel on our campus! 

Lastly, most of you know, but on next Saturday, April 13th, there will be an ice cream social for all the leaders in fellowships at NYU. It's literally free ice cream and hanging out for an hour or two on the 7th floor of kimmel. It's pretty relaxed, but in the middle, we'll have time to talk about the specific issues and goals our fellowships have, and get to pray for each other. It'll be awesome! Can we send out an email/encourage all of the leaders to go? Small group leaders, apprentices and ST, plus, anyone interested in inter-fellowship stuff. I can have an email drafted soon.
