Graduation Party at Dr. Moffat's!

Hello everyone! 

I wrote this in the facebook group so I am sorry if you are reading this for the second time but I just wanted to make sure everyone saw it. I met with Dr. Moffat today to figure out party plans for next Monday! Here is the dealio- she is super excited to have us all over but I think very nervous that people won't actually come because other classes did that to her in the past which is why she stopped having these parties every year. So we need to make sure that that doesn't happen and we actually go and have a blasty! It is really wonderful of her to do this for us so let's not let her down and go and celebrate this wonderful time all together! She said she is going to pass on the info to the faculty and staff as well so this will forreals be a blast and a half.

Basically to get there we take the oyster bay line to locus valley- we have to change at Jamaica or Layola. It's about a 4 min walk to her house from the train stop. She looked up the schedule and said we can take the 8:30am train and get there at 9:50. If you miss a train there is an hour or so you have to wait. The next train is at 10:35 getting you there at 12. So either one of those trains work and we can stay until 4ish. She said this train line is disgusting and ghetto so be forewarned. I will email you guys the exact directions she gave me this weekend when it gets closer to the party day.

I am going to make a google doc so everyone can sign up to bring food and drinks and such. She wont be supplying food but has a grill and will have coolers and ice. She said she doesn't mind if we drink alcohol as long as no one drives (obv). 

She has a pool so everyone can bring a bathing suit and their own towel!  We can also bring frisbees and outdoor games because she said she has some grass. And if anyone has a good speaker for music we can bring that. 

Let me know if you have any questions and look for the google doc to sign up for food because this party is A WEEK AWAY!!!! Ok can't wait to be all reunited and celebrate that August 2015 has actually arrived!
