Hi,

The file sizes on Mediasite are still large enough to cause issues. I noticed that they have a fairly high framerate, so I tried transcoding a lecture to 5 fps. The resulting video is 86% smaller, with no perceptible reduction in quality of the slideshow. Could we possibly do something similar for our lectures in the future? This would make them much easier to download and stream.

Also, the videos still have black bars on the sides, as though the video resolution is larger than the actual lecture resolution (recorded in Septodont). Please see the attached example.

Hi again,

For the past few weeks in Septodont we've been encountering a cyclic, quiet beeping sound in the recording. It is not audible during lecture in the classroom, only on the recording, and we have not noticed this issue in any other room.

Can you tell us which recordings this is occurring on so we can hear this?
