Websites inaccessible

Hi,

We've been receiving complaints from classmates that the Mediasite and Newclasses sites were inaccessible for several hours tonight, and I also was unable to load them. Do you know what the issue was, so that I can answer their questions?

The NYU network is currently unavailable from off campus, and is experiencing intermittent service degradation on campus. NYU IT is actively working to resolve the issue. Updates will be posted here as they become available.

Normal NYU IT web pages that would have announced this are unavailable, so this is posted on flagship NYU Facebook and Twitter pages.
