TV Show Idea

‘Two Broke Girls’ meets ‘Smith’, interestingly both hit CBS shows, the latter unfortunately cancelled in its prime due to high production costs.

Premise: An investment group made of five dads loses their entire capital in a bad investment. With their goal of striking rich and quitting their day jobs still in mind, they figure they’ve skills between them and their families to orchestrate a couple heists, call it quits and be set for life. We follow them as they slowly dip into the criminal world and bring their families along for the ride.

They go after entities backed by insurance hoping to get their 100k back plus a chunk of interest. They lost their money to a Madoff like scheme and are going after the guys at the top.
