ABC Storyline Breaking Bad S2E6

In order to track the story lines better, I opted for an episode I've already seen several times. Hope that's alright.

ABC Outline

Breaking Bad

Season 2: Episode 6

“Peekaboo”


A: Jesse tries to get the money out of the Meth heads, while protecting the little kid (contained to episode).

B: Walt averts disaster by negotiating Gretchen, and convincing Skylar everything is okay (through line).

C: Walter returns to work to find that not much has changed.


TEASER:

Scene 1: Skinny Pete gives Jesse the names of the people who stole from him to “get got.” (A)

Scene 2: Infront of their house, Jessse smokes and then takes a revolver out of his glove compartment, then goes inside. (A)


INTRO:


ACT 1:

Scene 1: While knocking on the door of the house, Jesse braces himself to talk to the meth heads. (A)

Scene 2: Jesse breaks into the house and searches around – no one seems to be around. A small child comes out and starts to watch The Home Shopping Network with Jesse, not acknowledging that he's there. Jesse tries to change the channel, and realizes that there are no other channels available. The kid tells Jesse that he's hungry. (A)

Scene 3: Skylar listening to phone messages in the White household – Walt's first day back teaching. (C)

Scene 4: Skylar calls Gretchen and thanks Gretchen for the money she gave them for Walt's treatment. Gretchen is confused, as she gave no money. (B)

Scene 5: Walt's classroom. Walt rants about H Tracy Hall, and how GE rewarded him for creating a synthetic diamond with a savings bond – paralleling what he believe's his own situation to be. (C)

Scene 6: Later, Walt meets with the principal, Carmen. Carmen invites Walt to come to her with any problems. (C)

Scene 7: Walt and Jr. leaving school. Walt finds a “Missing” flier mocking him, and tells Jr. not to worry about it. (C)

Scene 8: Jesse watches the kid eat. He hears the kids parents arriving, and takes the kid to his room. (A)

Scene 9: The two meth heads arrive. Jesse attacks them, and tells them both to shut up. (A)


ACT 2:

Scene 1: On the way home from school, Walt Jokes with Jr. about who might have made the “Missing” flier. (C)

Scene 2: In the driveway, Walt prepares himself to meet with Gretchen. (B)

Scene 3: Inside the White house, after Skylar mentions that they need to repay Gretchen, Gretchen immediately says she needs to get going. (B)

Scene 4: Walt speaks to Gretchen in the driveway – Gretchen does not want to talk, and drives away. (B)

Scene 5: Jesse tries to scare the meth heads into telling him where his meth is, and finds out that most of it has been lost. The mother tries to use the kid to manipulate Jesse. Other guy tells Jesse the money is in the back yard. (A)

Scene 6: There is a stolen ATM in the backyard, which the meth head tries to open but cant. The meth head says it was a victimless crime. (A)

Scene 7: Through a montage, we see the scene of the crime – and a dead store owner. (A)


ACT 3:

Scene 1: The meth head tries to crack open the ATM, to no avail. Jesse realizes he doesn't know where the kid is. He confronts the meth heads about their parenting, and realizes they will tell him whatever he wants to hear to get high, then starts trying to break open the ATM himself. (A)

Scene 2: At a restaurant, Gretchen tries to find out where Walt is getting the money, and why he is lying to his family, and why he is so concerned with his pride? Walter accuses her and her husband of cutting him out. Gretchen offers pity, and Walt tells her to go fuck herself. (B)

Scene 3: Later, while trying to play peekaboo with the Meth heads' kid, one of them attacks Jesse, knocking him out. (A)


ACT 4:

Scene 1: Jesse wakes up just as they are robbing him, then passes out again. (A)

Scene 2: Skylar confronts Walt about where he has been. Gretchen called and said they are cutting off the money. Skylar accuses Walt of getting Gretchen to do this. Walt tells Skylar this is because Gretchen and Elliot are broke. Walt comforts Skylar that they are going to make it. (B)

Scene 3: Jesse wakes up again. The two meth heads are arguing, while one tries to crack it open through the bottom. The woman drops the ATM on the other's head, killing him. Jesse tries to wipe his fingerprints off the ATM. It bursts open, spilling money everywhere. Jess wipes his prints from the rest of the house, then calls 911. He grabs the kid, tells the kid to cover his eyes, and takes him outside. Then tells him to have a good life, and leaves, just as the police are arriving. (A)
