Follow Up - Please check your NYU platforms for a message update

Hello NYU delegation,

Mafe received the following message from NYU Bursar saying our request was Resolved.

Could you please check in your inbox and on your NYU billing accounts and confirm if there is any update or message?

If not I will require the captains to call the bursar's office to confirm the extension was granted since they give that information directly to students. We didn't see any more details in the message sen to Mafe so we decided to turn to you all and ask.

Please contact them today IF there is no clear message with the extension date.

When you email/write please use your "reference number" to ask "Hello! I'm XXXX and I'm reaching out about my case "reference number ____" to confirm what date our billing extension was granted."

Hi Kelly, 

I was checking and re-checking my Bursar account to understand the current status, as I have not received the confirmation mail yet.

I found the same as Cielo! A "Third-Party" Item:

I understand that a third-party payment request is not the same as an extension request, so I was checking the dates to confirm both requests were accepted. I can see there is a register for the 6th of August, so it seems like everything is fine.

Could you please take another HORIZONTAL screenshot so I can see all the columns: Third PArty Billed Credit and se Date, Date Due, Charges etc.......

Hello Grace and NYU delegation!

I am VERY happy you shared this full screenshot with me because this is what the image means. :)

1) NYU has received and approved our Third Party Billing request on August 6th 2024.

2) They have applied and given us a credit of $41, 627 USD which means that you will all be able to register for classes since the system

has recognized that the payment of this amount is "on it's way" from Intercorp. (We stated this in our letter signed by Mafe)

What we do not know is until when the extension was granted. In each of your letters, we requested the end of August, so that is the message the Bursar has received in order to approve this request but it's best to make sure.

Grace/Matias could you please call the NYU bursar's office today and ask if they can confirm the extension date/deadline?

As captains and as NYU admitted students they will give you that information quickly and directly.

They won't give me that information since I'm not the authorized user. Mafe is on vacation today so she cannot all either.

Hi Kelly,

I just spoke with the Bursar's office and they said the extension has been approved until the 28 of August. They also added that if we do not meet the deadline we could be de-enrolled from our classes.

So I think we should be more than fine!
