NYU Progress Report 

Hi Kelly,

I hope you are doing well. Here we share our NYU delegation progress report:

VISA APPOINTMENTS

All the delegation have received their dates and extra information regarding their visa appointments for this upcoming July. We are reading and informing ourselves about the process with the documents shared by Cometa and also reviewing other helpful sources. So far, we are clear with the next steps and just waiting for our meeting on July 1st., where we will present any questions that can appear in these days.

LOGISTICS FORM:

The delegation has correctly sent the logistics form. We all have the same information regarding arrival/start of classes dates, airports, and software. Each of us has correctly selected their Laptop model, with previous detailed research made.

HEALTH & ACADEMIC DOCUMENTATION

We keep advancing with the documentation requirements. So far some of us have already completed all the requirements and will help the other members of the delegation to send all their documents correctly before the end of the month.

Thanks for your summary and for all the progress I see on the NYU Station.

I had a few recommendations there as I see you have listed assignments quite clearly.

I suggest you add DEADLINES to the tasks assigned so that I can also be aware and you guys if youre team knows when they need to complete these 2 assignments:

Additionally, I see one assignment that is still in RED. Can you confirm if in fact no one has received an email confirming this payment yet OR if you have in fact received it but not updated it? I ask because I want to make sure what the last communication was with Lauren and if she knows the status of this task "send a screnshot to lauren about payment confirmation".

Good morning Kelly,

Thank you so much for your recommendation! I have already added the deadlines for the tasks 🙌. Our mission is to have all the paperwork ready before the month ends, even though the official deadline is July15.

About your question, we were told by Lauren that we should receive a message from NYU's stating that our housing payment has been accepted. To date, we have not received anything more than the automatic message from the bursar office that we already shared with her:

On the 3rd of June we received this update from the housing office, however it does not explicitly mention that the payment has been accepted:

Our housing process is continuing normally, we are receiving all the updates and notifications. However we have not yet received the message Lauren told us we should receive.

We know Matias has contacted you and shared screenshots of the messages we received on this matter. We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with any updates or extra information.

I just wrote NYU Housing today to double-check everything is in the system correctly, and they have replied everything has been received and is fine. 

That's why you are all receiving correctly all your housing emails from NYU.

Below is my conversation with the Director of Housing Services:

Lauren has not asked us for any additional materials to be sent to her therefore we understand everything is fine!
