Hi Everyone,

It's hard to keep up in the biology lecture if you don't have proper notes to review, but maybe we can work together to solve the problem. A Google Doc has been created for the lecture outline. There is no designated editor, rather all those who want to use it can edit it. The philosophy is similar to Wikipedia - anyone who has something to add, please add to it. If a lecture hasn't been uploaded yet, the first one to notice can upload it. If you notice a mistake or something missing, feel free to correct it. If a few of us work together on this, we'll all benefit from it.

If you're more comfortable downloading it with out adding to it, feel free to do so.

The only limitation regarding what we'll add to the document is this: It can only be material that you know he said in lecture. If you know the information from some other source, please don't add it, regardless of how relevant it is. The goal here is to fill in the lecture outline, and to briefly add any points that he added during lecture.

The url is https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zMd9MtwcwZaQCXAzvADiSKjmxOSz__DFF5Hg4UygShA/edit?hl=en&authkey=CO6Px7QO.
All the lectures will be included in one long document. It will be more convenient that way because they'll all be attached to the same link.

As usual, you rock Yonah. I wanted to do this as well, and didn't have
time on Monday. I will add my bits and pieces tomorrow and onwards.

I'll also try to scan the Bio atlas for the Biology Lab Practical next
week. Fritz was kind enough to lend me his book, so I'll do my best to
put it up for everyone to use. (Most likely in your drop box.)

Thanks!

Hey all,

For everyone who wants to use the Google docs, which definitely is a
great way to catch missing pieces of info --- whenever the Prof. puts
up a figure or image, try to note down what figure it is from the book
(ex. Figure 42-29a). This way we can track where images from the book
correlate to his notes. In addition, if anyone decides to listen to
his lecture recordings we can match the drawing he is referring to in
relation to his comments and information.

I've added a bit of my notes to the Google docs, and I will upload the
scans of the Biology Lab Atlas onto Yonah's dropbox for the Lab
Practical.

Good luck!

Sanjay
