Mattias Falck has changed his name back to Mattias Karlsson. He
actually announced it on Instagram on March 1st:

Funny--in my "Singapore Smash" post of 2/18/2026, I mentioned his name
and said, "used to be top-10, now out of the top-100" and just 11 days
later he announces the name change and says he's "focused on new goals..."
I wonder--did he see my post and decide it was time for a change?
Probably not...
Anyhow, the top Swede today is Truls Moregardh--ranked no. 2 in the
world. The next big event is the World Team Championships starting 2
weeks from today on April 28th at 5 am in London, England:
