Season 6 of the UTT League starts this Saturday...

For those of you who are interested, that's the Indian League... India
is 9.5 hours ahead of us.  This starts Saturday morning and goes on for
2 wks. until June 15.  Here's a coupla relevant links:

2 Americans will be playing this season--Kanak Jha, the US no. 1 man,
and Adriana Diaz, the PR no. 1 woman.  Kanak will play for the Jaipur
Patriots and Adriana will play alongside Quadri Aruna for the Kolkata
Thunderblades.  Unfortunately, Kanak's coach, Joerg Bitzigeio, will be
coaching against him on another team, the Chennai Lions.  They couldn't
arrange for Coach Bitzigeio to be on the same team as Kanak?

to find highlight videos of the latest action.  I'm not sure, but I
don't think we are able to watch any of the live broadcasts from all the
way over here in the US of A.

Again, this starts this morning at 7:30 am.  Kanak's team, the Jaipur
Patriots will face Dabang Delhi TTC in the 1st match of the season.

posted highlight videos there which, I assume, they will do again this
season.  As you will see, there is also a LIVE page there, but I dunno
if they're going to livestream any of the matches as they will be
televised on Indian TV.

The other American in the UTT League, Adriana Diaz of Puerto Rico, will
have her 1st match this Monday at around 7:30 am--Kolkata Thunderblades
vs. the Chennai Lions.  I think she's on a strong team with Quadri Aruna
(the highest-ranked male in the league this season--Kanak is no. 2) and
Ankur Bhattacharjee, whom I call the "boy-wonder of India", who, without
a doubt, will be a future top player for India.  Berni Szocs of Romania
is the top-ranked female player in the league (she plays for U Mamba TT)
and Adriana is no. 2.  Anyhow, I think Kolkata is strong enough to at
least make the final this season
