Women's final from earlier today:

Now, everyone will cross the border into Slovenia for the WTT Star Contender Ljubljana which starts this Tuesday at 4 am and goes on through Sunday. Then everyone makes a mad dash over to LA for the United States Smash which starts Friday of next week--June 26.
Oh, there's one storyline that's been getting a little attention of late--Fang Bo of China has come out of retirement and is now playing in the WTT Tour for the first time. He's playing across the border in neighboring Kazakhstan. So, I guess now he's a teammate of the Kazakh no. 1, Kirill Gerassimenko...
Many of you probably remember him in the 2015 World Championship final vs. the great Ma Long, then the world's no. 1. At that time, Fang was ranked no. 8 in the world which was his highest ranking. Anyhow, for those of you who have forgotten that great match, here's a highlight vid:

Game 5 is the one you should pay the most attention to. There's that great rally that, at the time, I thought was the greatest rally I had ever seen up until then.
He played his first WTT event this past week in Zagreb and failed to get out of qualis. It'll be interesting to see how far he goes this week. And though he's able to play in the WTT Tour,
like Zhu Yuling of Macao,
he's ineligible to play in major events like the World Championships, the World Cup and the Olympics.
