I've been trying to get an instance up and running.  It has certainly been a great learning experience.  One thing that keeps popping up is that Node.js 10 is no longer supported:

WARNING: Node.js 10 is no longer supported by the Node.js Foundation as of April 2021. We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of Node.js runtime as soon as possible. For details on upgrading, see https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/nodejs/runtime.

Are there any plans for an upgrade?

Apologies for the spam.  For anyone else who's wondering all you need to do is download the latest version of nodejs and update app.yaml runtime variable from nodejs10 to the version you're now running, in my case it was nodejs16.

Thanks for the report. I've created an issue that we should deprecate Node v10 and v12 support as they are no longer actively maintained.
