Hello, Library users and contributors!
Library v1.4 has been released! This release includes a number of new features, enhancements, and security updates. Highlights include:
Code block and code highlighting fixes
Expanding Images
Support for folders inside of Team Drives
Slack OAuth
JSON Endpoints
A number of CI and security updates
Please note that Library now requires Node >=10.x. See our latest releases on Github and Dockerhub.
As always, we’re excited to see some new contributors these past few months. The repository’s issue board is still a great place to go if you’re looking for ways to contribute to the project. Unsure where to start? Check out our new good first issue label for tasks that can help introduce you to Library’s codebase, or the good for learning label if you’re just getting started with Node.
We’ve also enabled Github Discussions for a new way to ask questions, share your Library-related content, and connect with other Library users.
Documentation Updates: We hope to keep improving our documentation to make it as easy as possible for everyone to deploy and use Library.
Plugins for easier customization: a proposal for adding NPM-based plugins to Library is collecting feedback. We’d love to hear what you think!
Search improvements: Folder-scoped and cross-category search has been proposed and are now being implemented by the Library community.
Have ideas for Library features? Want to contribute? Submit an issue on Github, or consider picking up an unassigned issue from the board.
As always, feel free to reach out to us in the Google Group, message us in the newsnerdery slack, or contact us on Github with any suggestions or questions.
Best,
The Library Team
