Philadelphia Soundwalk

Hi everyone.

Questions about Philadelphia.

1) Anyone know of soundscape projects in Philly?

2) I'm leading a soundwalk of Philadelphia's city center in a few weeks and would love some ideas and recommendations on where to go. The walk is 90 minutes, from 4-5:30pm and will depart from the Sheraton on N. 17th Street.  We will most likely head past City Hall, Reading Terminal Market, and Chinatown, and I'm trying to decide between heading east to the Schuykill riverfront, down to Rittenhouse Square, or east to Old City. I'd love to do a leg on the subway. Is there an easy way to prepurchase tickets for an undetermined number of people without wasting too much money?

Charles Cohen and Chris Forsythe might have interest in the soundwalk,
too. I spent some time with them this past weekend at the Sound Art
Theories Symposium in Chicago.

When I think of Philly and sound scape I think of John Hudak's "silent
meeting club". It was about places and listening. Google John and the
silent meeting club.
