There are three DrupalCamps coming up in the next few months you might want to plan to attend.

The first is Design4Drupal August 1st through August 3rd in Boston.  Meredith and I attended this last year and I really enjoyed it.  I will miss it this year because I will be at DrupalCamp Colorado that weekend.  August 1st is a business summit and Hello Drupal training (introduction to Drupal).  August 2nd are traditional sessions, mostly focused on the front end/design side of Drupal.  August 3rd are code sprints or two training classes, one looks interesting, Responsive Bootcamp, but is has a cost of $350.  This is a different format from last year where both Saturday and Sunday had sessions.  The conference itself is $30 and is located in Boston, so attending likely means at least an overnight stay. http://boston2014.design4drupal.org/

The next one is DrupalCamp Connecticut, which appears to be a one day camp on August 23rd at Yale University in New Haven.  The site just went live, so there isn’t a lot of information available at this time.  The camp is free and given it is about 2 ½ hours away, it is possible to attend as a long day trip from Albany, much like some of us did for NYC Camp  My plan is to do a day trip, anyone who would like to ride along is welcome.http://2014.drupalcampct.org/

The last one is the NERD Summit September 12th through September 14th in Amherst MA.  This camp is also free, although for $30 you can have lunch included, or $50 for lunch and a t-shirt.  It looks like the schedule will be training on Friday, regular sessions on Saturday, and code sprints on Sunday.  Something else unique about this “camp” is there are other topics in addition to Drupal, including sessions for the closet Wordpress developers in the group.  Session tracks are:  Code for Change, Design, Development, DevOps, DrupalCampMA, MakerSpace, Project Management, Strategy, WordPress, Youth. I booked the conference hotel (there's a spare bed) but will wait for the session schedule to see how long I plan on attending. https://nerdsummit.org/nerdsummit-2014
