We celebrated our first Kali Puja at NYKM in 2005 - so this would be our 21st anniversary of Kali Puja. We have evolved from a single structure in those early days to a sprawling 3 building complex offering a multitude of services to Mandir devotees. With your support, we hope to continue playing a valuable role in your spiritual and social life.
Please join us this year again on the biggest night of celebration at the temple when we worship Shyama Ma, the source of power, which she uses to protect us from harm with her motherly love and kindness. You can watch the beautiful evocation of Ma Kali by our priest, Samiran Chakraborty - his poetic rendering of the Mantras touching even the most distant souls. Dinner would be served starting from 7:30 pm.
In the last few weeks, especially during the Durga Puja, you have shown enormous support for the temple - by visiting us and volunteering, contributing and donating. Please continue your support and become members in large numbers. Your full-hearted participation is necessary to ensure the temple's health and well-being.
Please note that this year, there will be complimentary valet parking arrangements for the convenience of the devotees. Please feel free to avail of the service which will be available from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
