App For The Road Trip
For those who have an iPhone, there is an app (by Apple) named "Find My Friends".  We usually use it during road trips to keep updated on where everyone is.  It's really handy in case of emergencies and it eliminates the "Where are you guys?" phone calls.

I strongly suggest whoever has an iPhone (or at least one person per car), download this app from the App Store.  You can request me using my username: aran...@yahoo.com.  Please share your Apple UserId when you have the app.  (Don't worry, you have control to turn this on and off whenever you want)

I'm not 100% sure who is going to get to the house first.  I believe it's Asif, but anything can happen.  Therefore, I'd like to share the information about how to get into the house if you're the first one there.

This is what the owner has instructed us:

There is a lockbox on the front door. The combination is 2551. The house keys are inside.  The square key unlocks the top lock on the front door; we only lock the top lock, not the one on the handle of the door.

Please have this email handy (especially you, Asif).  Text the combination to yourself or whatever.

By the way, only Asif has shared his location via Find My Friends.

I strongly suggest we use this app to keep each other updated on our status during the road trip.  LIke I said, you can turn it off when you arrive.  One person per car is all we need.

Atif/Aisha - I believe both of you have an iPhone.  Reza can help you install the app :)

Masood bhai, I know you have one because you performed surgery on it earlier this year.

Zuber bhai has one, I think Zaid has one too.

The only car without one is ... wait for it... Yaseen's car!  Surprise! (I'm hoping Sana or Bilal have an iPhone).

You don't need an iPhone.  Android has the same app and Asim and I were able to connect.

Just curious on the bedding/linens situation. Should we pack sleeping bags, pillows, towels, etc?  Or is there enough beds/towels for everyone?

Oh and I'll make sure we download the app.

Some people will definitely be on the floor. I would say if you can bring a sleeping bag or two, that should be fine. There are many beds, but we are more than the number of beds.

There are towels available, but I'm packing one for myself just in case. You don't have to do that, the owner has said the towel supply is enough.

There should be enough pillows.

I'm trying to secure a 6 person tent for people like me who want to have a quasi-camping trip. I don't have it yet.
