Family Retreat - This Thursday

Assalamu alaikum,

I'm very excited about seeing everyone at the upcoming family retreat this Thursday.  I just wanted to go over some of the items we are asking everyone to bring.

Before I get to that, here is the address once again for easy reference for your GPS:

The place is called Swan Cove Manor.  We get the key insha'Allah on Thursday around 4pm.

Keep in mind our Watermelon Rule:

Every car coming needs to have a watermelon in it.  Those who are flying in are exempt from this rule.

Items to bring:

- Personal items and toiletries - such as toothbrush, grooming equipment, 

- Bath Soap

- Towels

- Pillow covers

- Swimming clothes.  The property has two swimming pools that are far away from each other.  The sisters will have time allotted to use the pool privately.

For families with babies - There are diapers that are used for swimming pools called Swim Diapers.  These are necessary for the babies to be able to use the pool.  Regular diapers are not made for swimming pools and may leak, which will be bad for everyone.  Please bring a few of these swim diapers.  They're available in Walmart, Target, etc.

Tip: If you have an iPhone, there is an app called "Find Friends". This helped us last year track people as they arrived so we had less "where are you" phone calls.  If you wish, download this app and let me know your email address.  I will add you to the event so we can TEMPORARILY track each other.
