I just installed firefox 8 for the first time on a freshly formatted computer. I noticed that for some reason it opens up facebook and my home page everytime it starts up. I don't want it to load facebook up every single time I start firefox.
Probably for maximum browser compatibility, I would try to implement these Facebook box and twitter box using the javascript api from facebook and the api from twitter instead, that way these can be added natively to the page without having to use an iFrame.
I have read all these posts and have followed all the links but I still have been unable to solve this problem that started yesterday for me. The facebook videos on firefox have no audio. On Internet Explorer, when I play the video, I get a message saying "flash unavailable we are having trouble playing this video". This cannot be simply a Mozilla issue, as the problem exists on Explorer as well.
A few days ago I installed Malwarebytes Browser guard and first time I tried to visit facebook.de, which was immediately blocked by browser guard. However, "facebook.com" seems to be not blocked. URL in adress line is: chrome-extension://ihcjicgdanjaechkgeegckofjjedodee/app/eventpages/block.html?referrer=null&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.de%2F&host=www.facebook.de&type=malware&subtype=reputation&tabId=20&filename=undefined
