Tires for Sale

Greetings all,

 

Hope I did this correctly.  I have three sets of snow tires available.  My goal is to clear out the garage before I'm told to sleep with the tires.  Soooo, any reasonable offer will be considered.;-)

 

4 - Hakka Q's 205/70-14 on some rusty steelies from my Laser RS.  Bolt pattern is 5-114.3.  Raced twice on round lake....tread is like new.  Asking $100 for the set.

 

4 - Hakka 2's 225/55-17 from the STi.  A bit big since they were stock size from the recent Subie Outback models.  50% tread left.  Great for autocoss, screws or to be tractioized.  Asking $50 for the set.

 

4 - Blizzak WS-50's 225/45-17 also from the STi.  More than 60% tread left.  Ditto for autocross, etc...  Asking $50 for the set.

This is Nate, just wondering if the 205's on the laser wheels were still available.  Also off the top of your head any ideas as to the fit on a 2000's neon,  I have the wheels already, just need tires and the price is right, i know they will be wider, and about a 1/2in taller.  Either way let me know nlwa...@gmail.com or 315-730-5103, thanks again - Nate

The Q's are still available.  I'm not sure about the Neons though.  I can check with Alan Smith or Ben Gilmore for their input.  I have no problem with you test fitting.  If they don't fit I'll take them back.  Just like WalMart.:)  Really, I'm flexible.

Below is a response from Ben Gilmore.  He Autocrosses and Rally crosses Neons.  Looks like the 205/70's will be just fine.

He must have the base 2000 model. One of my sisters neons is the 2000 and she has the 14in wheels. If anything Nate needs to be aware that if he were to run this size that while his speedo will show 65mph. His actual speed will be 70.07mph...  Needless to say if he is "slightly" speeding... then in actuality he is "really" speeding...
I have two winterforce 195/75R14 on the rear of her car with out an issue, so i can tell you that the height will work.  As for the 205 width, i'm pretty confident that there shouldn't be an issue with that. I have yet to try it on my neon with my 16in (205/55R16).
 
I did browse the forums and it seems to be acceptable. Several people are running 205 R14 tires...
