The Brown/Parrish Black College Bus Tour for over twenty five years has placed students into historically black colleges and universities. The tour helps address the lack of connection between young adults, high schools and communities with HBCU’s. “Overall our students were not prepared for college nor does the community understand the great services offered by HBCU’s and high school budgets are being reduced every day. With that observation, we saw the need to help high schools conduct college tours within their existing budgets” said Alvin Hartley, National Tour Coordinator. US Coachways is an industry leading bus charter company, with over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, which utilizes top of the line, luxury style coaches and limousines to provide clients with the best of transportation services. We are so excited to help support students who are looking for an opportunity to better their education and personal life, says Sal Ciaravino and Chris Anderson Luxury Travel Consultants, US Coachways. The Bus Tour Sponsorship allows High Schools in the five boroughs to schedule Brown/Parrish Black College Bus Tours and receive up to $2000 of sponsorship per bus. Each borough will receive the total of $20,000. The sponsorship is based on a first come first serve. Each tour consist of three days and two nights that includes six colleges, hotel accommodations, meals, full campus tours, orientations, complete review of transcripts and on the spot pre-enrollment opportunities.
