Regents week is here, and if any of you are taking exams, I wish you the best of luck. January is coming to an end faster than expected, so please keep in mind the approaching early bird deadline for LTC. Looking forward to seeing you all there! CLUB EVENT: ECOSIA
A step towards a better planet with every search! Ecosia is a great way to be involved in virtual service. Ecosia is the simplest way to plant trees and be climate active every day. Help heal our planet with internet searches! Ecosia is an extension that plants a tree for every 45 searches you make on it. Planting trees and preventing deforestation are key measures in reducing the human impact on global climate change.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING CONFERENCE (LTC)
To service and beyond! Join Key Clubbers from all over New York District Key Club on a three day weekend at The Desmond Hotel in Albany. Come to engage in a multitude of various workshops, participate in fun service projects, and elect officers for the new service year. If you would like to discuss your club's preparations for LTC, awards to apply for, and any questions in general then please sign up below to arrange a meeting. All Key Club members are encouraged to ask any questions they have regarding LTC, but it is particularly crucial for Club Officers to sign up to ensure smooth planning for your club at LTC.

Key Club's LTC Awards Booklet contains information about awards recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements of members, clubs, and districts, such as community service projects and leadership skills. It highlights award categories, eligibility criteria, and nomination instructions. There are a variety of awards you can apply for including the Distinguished Key Clubber Award, a non-competitive award granted to individuals who fulfills the requirements. Below you will find the Awards Booklet where you can look through the various awards you can apply for.

RUNNING FOR D11 LTG
Now is the time to express your interest in becoming the D11 LTG. If you're passionate about Key Club and committed to our Division, consider taking this opportunity to get more involved at higher Key Club levels. Please note that being a dues-paying member is a requirement for running. In cases where multiple individuals within a club aspire to run as LTG, the club will nominate only one Key Club member. If you have been nominated by your club, please use the form below to express your interest.

RUNNING FOR HIGHER OFFICE
In order to run for higher office you must have already attended the Running for Higher Office Webinar.
Key Deadlines:
Candidate Intent Form due by February 2: Candidate Intent Form
Candidate Biographical Form due by February 4: Biographical Form
Save the date for the Candidates Meeting on February 4th at 8 PM EST. Your active participation in these processes is essential for our organization's continued success.

Additionally, individuals interested in running for international positions can request resources and share specific areas they'd like to address during the webinar using this link: Resource Request Form.
GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATE (GLC) 
Key Club International offers a Global Leadership Certificate program for its members, providing access to nearly 40 courses on leadership topics like relationship-building, self-awareness, and civic engagement. This self-paced program focuses on both traditional and sought-after soft skills, aligning with Key Club's values of fellowship, leadership, and service. Participants can also take advantage of special opportunities, including the Global Leadership Certificate Master Class held during the Key Club International convention, to enhance their leadership abilities.
