Hey Everyone,

Just had a phone call with John and there are a few things to keep in mind as we approach launch.

1.) Neville is working on the Style Sheet - He may send it out later today

2.) Style Sheet will contain instructions how to source the photos that we use

3.) John will send a link to a photo agency that has public domain photos which we are supposed to use from now on.

4.) We can pull photos from other sources than the agency, however...Do NOT use AP photos. They are the an agency that gets touchy about this.

5.) Design of the site is FINAL, homepage design FINAL, banner is FINAL, We added Linked IN and Google Plus

Christy Jenkins - Have we created pages for these yet?

6.) Comment section is now using a new plugin called Discus

7.) As you work through the website - Send Neville any bug fixes you see throughout the website

8.) Delete ALL test comments and stories - But we must launch with an archive...so if an article is meant to be kept at launch...See #9

9.) Every story must be tagged - include as many tags as you can think of, they will be included on the post

10.) John has multiple meetings today and he will not be back until close to 5pm - If there is anything that is necessary to bring to his attention he will have his Blackberry on him so he may be able to answer via e-mail.

If you have any questions about any of this please let me know. John should be sending the link to the photo agency soon. Thanks everyone!

Hi all,

To follow up on the issue of tagging your posts on the site, I see that some of you have already started this, which is great - please continue to do so with all posts. You should tag your posts with as many tags as are relevant, anticipating how readers will find related stories. Tagging should also be as consistent as we can make it. This means that you should think, if a reader clicks on my tags will s/he see other stories?

You can visit both Above the Law and Huffington Post for examples of good, effective tagging.

Thanks,
