Currently each tile tracks how much blood is on it, and past a certain
threshold it becomes a puddle of blood.
I suggest that liquids should also track how fresh they are. If you step
on a (fresh enough) puddle of blood, you should track blood for about 5-10
steps. This could help you keep your bearings, and would have strategic
uses with glowing blood (which could leave glowing foot prints of a low
intensity).
Walking over a sufficiently old puddle of blood should have no effect.
