Hey yall!
I'm going to miss this month's meeting (out of town still), but I thought I'd start preparing something to talk about for August. If there's interest I thought I could talk about audio buses and node trees (following the new rule of lots of audio examples). Would that be interesting, and are there specific things people want to learn about those topics?

Have fun this month!
Tom

Those sound like great topics, to me.

Ya.  Great topic.  Lately I'm building extensions to Node/Group/Synth (especially to automate use of NodeWatcher) and classes that automate setup/teardown.

Not exactly related, but we might also review the trailing arguments to SynthDef -- prependArgs, variants, metadata.  Quite powerful and sometimes... exotic.

Cool! Want to talk about those?

I'll bring code and examples to share re: Node and subclasses.  This may compliment your presentation.
I may have some new audio demo by then as well that uses this code.

I'm happy to informally run through SynthDef details, starting with the examples in the manual.  I've been thinking about it for a while and can maybe detangle the details if there are questions.
