Hoping to get the gang back together again - anyone have news about a place we can meet? If not I'll do some more research!

This from our friend Brad:

I think we're set to help with this.  I'm cc-ing Seth Cluett who can help coordinate days/times, but go ahead and plan it.

So looks like we're back in bizness.  Everybody please weigh in as to preferred days.

Cheers

Nice!! Thanks Dan. For me most tues/wed/thurs are best. I think any of the : 3rd, 8th (tho not ideal), 9th or 10th would work if we're ready to do it that soon.

Hi Seth

We tend to be pretty laptop-heavy, so tables (or a big table) are pbly a good thing. We usually take turns plugging into the overhead/speakers to demo, present issues, etc.
We were thinking of Thurs., but Weds. was also tossed out there, I'm waiting on a show of hands from the group.  Let me place an announcement for Weds. the 9th on the meetup site & see what sort of rsvps we get.
Thanks again!

Cheers

yup. totally possible. let us know what you’re thinking.
i think at this point, wednesday evenings and weekends are the only times unspoken for in the seminar room, but if chairs without tables are ok, that opens up other possibilities.

Hi Brad, any motion on our hopeful SC meeting possibilities?  As you can see, the natives are getting restless....

Kudos, Tom, for stirring up the dirt.

Daniel -- I will make a new query at my workplace, in case CU does
not work out.  No guarantees, but context there is different from
last time around.  Nice cred for us if we can visit CU.  I know at
least two other people in Brad's orbit if we need references...
Though I bet all we have to do is offer to help them work out their
SC questions to become VIP guests.

ps: Sorry I missed your James/git query.  Please send us an update
if this is still an issue!  Quarks is nice, but super janky.

Best,
david
