Our client, a top ten web property, is looking for a talented software
developer to add to its Sales Order System Development team. This
developer will design and build reliable and flexible web-based ad
management, workflow, and accounting systems for both internal and
external clients in a dynamic UNIX-based environment.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with web based technologies and
an active problem solver who is able to identify and fill in missing
product details and requirements. This position calls for a motivated
team player that believes both in Agile Software Development and
leveraging Open Source Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop business systems to support world-class Sales and Marketing
operations
- Identify and troubleshoot application bugs
- Create technical documentation for business systems
- Support end users of the business systems
- Identify opportunities to improve operation efficiency while working
with end-users
Requirements:
- 1-3 years development experience in Perl and SQL
- Knowledge of CGI protocol, HTML, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Unix environment
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Highly adaptive to change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in multiple mediums
(email, aim, face-to-face)
- Good problem solving abilities
- Good project management abilities
