Web Developer - Full-Time, Midtown, NYC
Client is looking for a strong Web Developer with at least five years
of hands-on experience in accurate requirement gathering, designing,
coding, testing, and maintaining web applications. The Web Developer
will be responsible for developing applications and utilities as
defined by the project they are working assigned to. The ideal
candidate will have good reasoning, coding and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Create accurately coded solutions to aid and support users and
business needs.
* Accurately plan project work so that deadlines are met, and work
to the guidelines set by the Software Development Group
* Prioritize project tasks in alignment with goals of the company.
* Create and maintain both technical and user-friendly
documentation commensurate with project scope.
Education and Experience:
* IT/Computing college degree preferred.
* 5 or more years experience developing applications using PHP,
Perl, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* 5 or more years experience developing/maintaining Internet based
applications in the Unix/Linux environment.
* Proficient in SQL and relational database systems - preferably
Oracle and SQLite.
