Position Summary: equipment operator in NY
The equipment operator is responsible for operating equipment in a safe and effective manner. Equipment under this job description may include: excavators, dozers, cranes and tractors.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of operator experience in the construction field
Osha 10
Valid, Clean drivers license
Start date: ASAP, Full Time
Salary: Based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with all company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Wear all company required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must possess knowledge of equipment and workplace safety
- Work in all the 5 boroughs and well as Long Island. Must be able to travel from job to job
- Cleaning the machines regularly. This includes sweeping the cabs and removing trash daily, cleaning the interior weekly, and lubricating doors and windows bi-weekly
- Complete equipment condition reports, as well as a daily checklist of work to be done on your equipment and provide to the Project Superintendent daily
- Make a note on your equipment report and let your Superintendent know if you need any supplies, i.e.: oil, grease, cleaning supplies etc.
- Operate small power tools
- Perform related duties and other responsibilities associated with this position as required by Supervisor
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, shut down, and stored at the end of the shift

must have a car and be able to get from job to job on your own.
OSHA 10 Card required.
