Are you writing apps for the Black? If so which language and toolchain are you using?

I am still a n00b to embedded so I am curious what other people are using.

I just got it and have higher priorities right now so it will sit around until next month
The goal is to use it as a computer to connect my D-STAR amateur radio to the Internet
I also have a Raspberry Pi that I an working on with the same goal
In both cases I will initially be using plug and play Linux distros
Once they are up and running I will use the Pi to try and learn some Linux and roll my own image so I understand some of how it is built and hopefully can fix it when I break it
