I'm not sure if anyone has responded to you yet, but I might have a spare room available for all or most of that time in midtown right by Penn Station. My Aussie roommate travels a lot for work and I remember him saying he'd be gone for most of that time. I need to check dates with him, though. Let me know if you are still looking.

Hello everyone
Hope it's Ok to post the following here. I found my way through Googling NYC hackerspaces whereon I found the NYCResistor website and then this Google group.
I'm a visual artist and outsider engineer from Brighton, England. Take a look at the following link if you're interested. My work's been featured on Retrothing.com and Matrixsynth.com and I've exhibited here in the UK in various venues. http://www.thisisobsolete.com/.
I'm taking a three month sabbatical in the Fall to study audio electronics at The Analog Lab in NYC. I'm looking for two things ...
1) Firstly just to say hello and connect with the hacker/maker/tinkerer community in NYC and
2) I'm looking for accommodation from early September until the end of November
So yeah, hello, do you fancy hanging out and let me know if you've got a spare room basically!
I've booked tickets for Maker Faire and I'm really looking forward to seeing Space Shuttle Endeavour.
Thanks
Jim, Brighton, UK
