Nottingham Hackspace members launch EVE for RPi a Internet of Things dev board with all the radios on

Hello NYC Resistor Microcontrollers group

 

I've followed this list for years and hope you don't mind me doing a bit of blatant promotion for members of my Hackerspace... we've grown to the point where real projects are really getting done in the real world and... well I'm proud to band the drum... sniff.

 

Some friends of mine at the Nottingham Hackspace have a kickstarter running for EVE which is a add-on for Raspberry Pi that acts as a home automation hub to connect with all your wireless gizmos. The kickstarter is to launch EVE Alpha which is a development board that is compatable with about 80% of wireless stuff like Xbee and RXF as well as a load of 2.4GHz stuff too. The idea is to get the dev board out there so they can fund and crowd source some awesome software! You can find out a lot more about it here on their page

I think this is a great idea. I do not know how I can contribute since my card is  for local transactions. I do not know if I can send 20 pounds to them through any other way. Thanks.
