I'm going to a job fair on Tuesday, and lost a reel of 0603 Blue LEDs
I need to finish my PCB business cards. Does anyone in the NYC area
have any they're willing to sell today(Sunday)? I was able to make up
6 cards, but have another 14 unpopulated. So I could use as many as
112, but I'll take as many as have in groups of 8.

For the curious: yet another PCB business card, but this one is
enabled by a capacitive touch sensor hidden under the top solder mask
in the lower-right corner. Using a cheap MSP430 for the brains and
powered by a CR1220.

Thanks a lot if you can help or can refer me to someone with the
parts.

Someone here requested a video of the card. If you're interested here
it is: http://youtu.be/YtdrAlyRoX8

Cool...
would be nice too if the LED are around your contact info.
any tutorial, what battery did you use?

Good point about placement. I designed this in a hurry; <2 weeks
between start of design and receiving boards from Gold Phoenix in
China. I will post a tutorial, but I'm looking for jobs right now so
that will have to wait a week or two. It's a CR1220 battery. I ordered
50 of them from Brooklyn Battery Works for $25: http://www.brooklynbatteryworks.com/.
They are rated for max pulse current of 5 mA, which is exactly what
the blue LED's are sinking without a current limiting resistor. As a
side note, blue LED's and 3 v batteries are one of a few combos you
can get away with not using current limiting resistors. But, you
should still use them anyway, so don't follow my example. The MSP430
current draw is ridiculously low, that's why they're used in lots of
battery powered applications. Not the fastest processor in the world
(<20 MHz, ~4 cycles/instruction), but very handy for low power stuff.
