Hi, I have an idea and I see if it is feasible or not:
(with or lilypad arduino)
the idea is:

That through an accessory: bracelet, neck, belt, any portable data can be displayed through LED lighting and LCD screen, for example data and acoustic environmental pollution. or one of the two.

That can be done if the data are high, but a beep is activated while capturing data: if the data are high, there is lighting in the accesoriio and also in the LCD place the data in text or numbers.

May?

Seems possible to me. The devil is in the details though - do you mind
wearing a wire to the bracelet? Otherwise using something wireless
will draw more power.

There are people who have experimented with this before - see
http://www.habitatmap.org/habitatmap_docs/MakeYourOwnAirCastingLuminescentApparel.pdf
and http://www.habitatmap.org/habitatmap_docs/HowToBuildAnAirCastingAirMonitor.pdf
and http://www.staceyk.org/airSensors/sensorsetup.php for more gritty
details.

Those sensors are available at http://www.futurlec.com/Gas_Sensors.shtml
, but as Stacey writes, some of the sensors require a burn-in period
of 48 hours.
I do not know if that is required every time or just the first time
after unboxing.

Seems like a cool project though, good luck making the accessories and
post lots of pictures / ask lots of questions!
