Lani Love is back in town from Chicago (yay) and will be DJing this Thurs night!
Her awesome blog Sugar Rock CatWalk (with Erin: ) inspired me to start one too, and yes - she even gave me my nickname, NYChar (excited to see you again, friend: ). All to say - it'll be a really fun night, and the weather should be nice. And we can celebrate my one-month-before-birthday-day?: ). More details:

- 12pm - 9th Ave Int'l Food Fest (FYI - Starts Sat 5/19, until 5pm) - Vendors will be lined up from 42nd to 57th St on 9th Ave with your favorite street fest foods (Mozzarepa, anyone?: ) and more!
- 2pm - Random Access Theater's production of Twelfth Night (free!) to see Jessica K. as Voila/Sebastian. It's one of my fave Shakespeare plays:). [6th St and Ave B Gardens, near 2nd Ave F stop. Click on title for additional dates/times.]
SAT June 2nd - Trip to Hawaii via Brooklyn + Mystery Radio Show!
- 12pm - Aloha Grinds - This is a suggestion from our resident islanders Evan and Gigi. BBQ, spam musubi, bacon fried rice, and more yumminess! [R train to Coney Island, 77th St stop]
- 2pm - Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene and/or Dekalb Market - Might as well stop by, since it's in the neighborhood: )
