Hello Everyone,
I hope you're all having a great day! This past weekend was the 2nd Capital Divisional meeting! Thank you to all those who came out to learn more about what's going on in Capital.
A special thanks goes out to Jenn, Kat, and LTG Rickie from Adelphi University in the Long Island Division for your long trip to attend the meeting! You're awesome! :)

2. NY Speaking Awards Packet
Even if you are not attending NY Speaking, you can still nominate any Outstanding Club Officers, Outstanding Returning Members, and Outstanding New Members.
Paper nomination submissions are due FRIDAY night of NY Speaking. Electronic copies of awards are DUE to Jennifer Yong [xJennif...@gmail.com] TODAY! by 11:59 PM.

B. Capital Division News
1. Last Capital Divisional Meeting of the Semester!
Save the date: Saturday, December 5th! The last divisional of the semester will be held at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. The time is still TBD but will be in the early afternoon. Please keep the date open on your schedules!
2. Division Project Chair Announced
As you probably all know the Capital Division Service Initiative this year is "Children's Health : Capital's Concern."
Erin Miller '12 from the RPI Club has been appointed the Project Chair. She will be planning upcoming division-wide service projects with this project focus and will also be publishing a Service Initiative Guide, so look for that within the next few weeks.

3. Search for Division Secretary
Are you interested in improving your note-taking skill? Want to meet some new people within the Capital Division?
If so apply to be the Division Secretary! You would be responsible for taking notes at the Capital Divisional meetings throughout the remainder of the service year.

C. Club News
1. HVCC Officers Elected
Congratulations to those newly elected officers of the HVCC club. earlier this month,
2. RPI Haunted House success
This past weekend, the RPI Club held it's annual Haunted House and raised about $250 for STUFH (Students Team Up to Fight Hunger).
Thank you to those from the U Albany club who helped out with set up, and those from the Sage club who supported the event by attending!

3.. Russell Sage Bread Sales
The Russell Sage cub is making breads, 4 kinds [Applesauce, Bananna, Blueberry, and Marble - chocolate & vanilla] to raise money. The money will first be used to cover club dues and the remainder will be donated to charity.

4. U Albany Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Halloween Party
This Thursday, 10/29 the U Albany Club is hosting a Halloween Party to raise money for UNICEF. There will be games, food, music, & FUN.
The event is from 7-9 pm in the Campus Center Terrace Lounge. All attendees are asked to donate whatever they can. Help the club raise $200 -- which will immunize 550 kids against measles!

Dues are payable now. Make sure to get them in before Nov 30th to remain in good standing with International!
The first FIVE clubs to submit dues will get $25 for a club Pizza Party!
