Division Updates for February

Hello Everyone, 

I hope you're semesters are all going well and you're well into a new semester of fun Circle K-ness! 

This email is chock-full of information, especially about events coming up this week, so take a look through and see what's going in Capital!

A. NY District News

1. DCON Registration DUE this THURSDAY

I'll be sending out an email shortly (from Conferences & Conventions Co-Chiar Carolyn) that has all the information you need.

Attached is the registration form.  In order to avoid paying the late fee, you'll need to send out the registration form by then!

 

2. Club Leadership Education at DCON

This year the CLE will be offered to all those who have been elected as officers of their club (and those interested in being officers in the future).  CLE is a great way to develop leadership skills, learn more about Circle K and how to be the best officer you can!

The registration form is attached and is due to me (ltgja...@gmail.com) by next Monday, March 1!

B. Capital Division News

1. LTG Elections this THURSDAY

Come to the U Albany Campus this Thursday, 2/25 fom 7-9 pm and elected the next LTG for the Capital division!

Also, I'll be giving out awards to all those who have done amazing things throughout the year!

And I'll be revealing the Capital division t-shirt design!

 

2. Habitat Builds this Friday & Saturday

Do you link Habitat Builds? Come join other members of the Capital Division on Friday or Saturday from 9am to 3pm! Please email me to sign up as there are a limited number of spots!

 

3. Capital Division T-shirt Contest

Do you have any ideas for a Capital Division t-shirt?  Send you designs to me (ltgja...@gmail.com) by Wednesday at noon! 

The winner will receive a free t-shirt and movie pass!

4. 12hr Service Marathon Recap

Yesterday was the 12hr Service Marathon and I'm proud to say we had all 4 clubs represented, 3 divisions in total (thanks to visitors from LICKI and Empire) and 3 Key Clubbers! 

In total we had 41 volunteers who did 220.75 hours of service!! 

Great job everyone and thanks for coming out to help! :)

C. Club News

RPI: Iron Chef Competition this Weekend!

Come join the Iron Chef Competition by creating a team to compete for the grand prize or being a judge at the event!  See attached flyer for more info.

U Albany: Hope for Haiti Fundraiser

The U Albany club will be selling pink paper hearts for $1 to be hung up in the lecture center concourse.  All the money will be donated to the Haiti relief effort.
