Hello Capital Division!

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the little bit of nice fall weather we've had. Just a quick update on a few things happening within the division and the New York District.

NY Speaking: The due date for early registration has been pushed back to October 21st! I've attached the registration form, all you have to do is type in your response, print it out and mail it with your check to Rich Hall. His address is in the registration packet. If you're looking for roommates, let me know, I can help you find other members either within the division or the district. We've got a lot of great stuff planned so I encourage you all to attend!

Dues: Get them in!! The deadline will be here before you know it. Dues help us get some awesome materials and also give you insurance should you ever get hurt while working on a project with us. Treasurers, if you've got any questions on how to submit dues or anything related to dues, let either myself or District Treasurer Corey Oses know. We're here to help :)

Key Club Fall Rally: I'm super excited about this one! Key Club, our high school version of Circle K, is holding a fall rally for some of its divisions, 15,16,17 and 18, and they've asked us to do some workshops, talk to some key clubbers, and lend a hand. If you're interested in helping email me and I'll get you more information. The rally will be on October 30th from 1-5 at Van Rensselaer High school.

District Editor: This one's not so much an event as it is a vacant position. Our past district editor recently resigned and we're looking to fill the position. They are mainly responsible for creating newsletters for the district and attending several board meetings throughout the year. If you're interested, please let me know ASAP. We're looking to vote the new district editor in at NY Speaking, so we'll need to know pretty soon who's interested.

This one's a little bit far in advance, but on November 19th, we'll be going to Habitat for Humanity to help them build. I'll send out more infor soon, as the date gets closer, but keep it in mind!

Yours in service,
Clare
