Hello Everyone,

Here's some news about what's going on in your favorite Capital Division! :D

Yesterday, we had our last Divisional Meeting of the Service year! Be sure to check out the attached minutes to see what you missed! 

A big thanks to RPI Secretary Jenn Forsyth for her amazing note-taking! :)

A. Capital Division News

1. Lt. Governor-Elect 

Congratulations to Clare Farnung, the current UAlbany Treasurer and one of the NYCKI Conferences & Conventions Co-Chairs! :)

2. Awesome Service Record Capital! :)

As of January hours, Capital is the division with the MOST SERVICE hours with 3618 hours!

Also, Capital is the division with the MOST SERVICE HOURS for the DISTRICT PROJECT (Arts Benefiting Children) with 256 hours.

Great job, Capital! :)

3. Arts Center Mailing -- THURS 3/10, 4-7pm

We'll be helping with the Arts center mailing again! :)

4. Service Week & Kiwanis One Day

Service Week is March 27 - April 1 and Kiwanis One Day is Saturday, April 2nd

Stay tuned for more info on events that will be taking place then

CKI Service Week is a chance for clubs to do a lot of projects especially ones focusing on our Service Partners! 

B. NY District News

1. District Convention (DCON)

March 18-20 at the Crowne Plaza in Albany

if you haven't registered yet you can still do so! 

There is the possibility of Saturday only attendance -- contact Co-Chair Jess (jl.mart...@gmail.com) for more info

2. District Officer Elections at DCON 

attached is the candidates packet of all those running for District Office

you can still run for a position,  but please contact me ASAP if you plan to do so

3. Bylaw Amendments at DCON

we'll be voting on changes to our bylaws at DCON

attached is the amendments packet -- if you have any questions about the proposed amendments please ask me!

4. Governor's Project 

"Saying Thank You" with 3 parts -- see link for more info

if your cub completes the project, it will be recognized at DCON
