The Node Firm consists of hackers who not only use Node.js in production, but also develop and manage the Node.js project itself. The Node Firm's complete Node.js Training course is a 2 day, intensive, hands-on learning experience. It targets Node.js beginners and experts. Javascript experience is required.

Node.js Introduction
In this keynote we introduce Node.js, why it is different, and when for what problems it should be used. This session is intended for architects and developer with no previous knowledge of Node.js and includes:

- Node.js basics
- Callbacks and streams
- Userland
- Node.js Essentials

This is a hands-on course that provides a developer with the information and experience needed to build applications with Node.js. Familiarity with basic programming fundamentals is advised. Javascript experience is recommended. Participants should have hands-on experience with programming languages (Javascript, Java, .Net, C++, Ruby, Python) and web development technologies.

Objectives include:
- Learn different approaches used to debug Node.js applications
- Learn how to effectively test Asynchronous Methods
- Integrate existing infrastructure with Node

- Using TPC and UDP protocols
- Using Clusters and Isolates effectively
- Node.js security
- Advanced Socket.io Training
