The IndyKids Journalism Camp - July 27-31 - scholarships available

Please help spread the word! The IndyKids Journalism Camp will take place July 27–31 at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. The camp is open to young people ages 10–14. If you have school contacts or know families who might be interested, I’d be grateful if you could share the scholarship application with them. For more information about the program, they can visit the IndyKids Summer Camp website. Students will have the opportunity to hone their writing and interviewing skills through engaging activities, workshops, and speakers, plus an outside excursion. Located at CUNY’s journalism school, IndyKids’ summer camp will feature hands-on workshops led by professionals in the field on topics ranging from news writing and photojournalism to podcasting and pitching news stories. As part of the camp, students will write one or two articles for our Fall issue, and become a published writer!
