"What's the Source" resource from YJC

The Youth Journalism Coalition just launched a resource to guide student journalists on reaching out to city agencies for comments, interviews and information. 

What’s the Source is a student guide to finding, contacting, and following up with government sources. It includes a video breaking down why it is important to go directly to the source and how to reach out to them directly, a sample email script, and a directory of press contacts across New York City agencies. 

Please take a look, and spread widely through your networks! We hope for this to be a resource for as many students as possible.
