The Empire State Scholastic Press Association is accepting applications for its 2025 scholastic journalism awards.
Deadline for submissions is Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025 and conference is Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025
Don't miss your opportunity to join the Empire State School Press Association and enter your published work in the 2025 competition, sponsored by the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. We look forward to connecting with you and helping support and recognize the best student work from high schools across New York State. Membership is $45 per publication.
Up to five entries per publication may be submitted with membership fee. Additional entries are $2 per entry and must be for the same publication. Please note: Maximum of 3 entries per category, any category exceeding 3 will not be judged, we will consider the first 3 only. Do not submit entries in any category that represent the work of a teacher, professional, or publishing company. Only student work is eligible for competition.
