This is an awesome opportunity for senior performers,aspiring dramatists and  dancers to be part of an epic dance-drama show by Madurai R Muralidharan and group. What is even more rewarding for the participants would be the experience to showcase and enhance their dancing skills in the presence of the stalwart R Muralidharan. He is a legend by himself and its a wonderful opportunity for senior artists/dancers to learn the nuances of dance from the "guru" himself and a huge step for aspiring dancers to observe, learn and perform under his guidance.

The dance-drama Sivagamiyin Sabhadam spectacle would involve 40 senior dancers (finished arangetram), 25 to 30 junior dancers (learners) & 10 to 15 dramatists.

He will take classes from Aug 5th  to 23rd on all weekdays from 6 to 9 pm in a hired dance studio at Edison, NJ. Request all to send their students for this. We will give group discounts for the Tickets. Every teacher who sends more than 10 students will get 2 VIP tickets free for the show. 

Auditions for this will be held on july 14 th from 2pm to 4 pm at 3 Springdale Lane, Warren, NJ.

All interested dancers kindly make it for the audition.

Madurai R Muralidharan is the legendary Bharathanatyam Guru and greatly respected Nattuvanar.He is the King of Nattuvangam.First Time Ever in USA - The King of Nattuvangam is conducting a Nattuvangam Workshop at 3 different levels to suit different age groups.The three levels are Begginers, Intermediate & Advanced.The workshop is for 12 hrs starting from August 5th 2013 till August 23rd 2013.

NATTUVANGAM is Natta + Angam. Natta means dancer or Dance Performance and Angam means body or main operating or controlling centre. The combination of this two is called Nattuvangam. In other words a Dancer for presenting dance with aesthetic effect always tries to keep link with Nattuvangam.
