Important Fund Raiser - This Thursday May 29th - I Need Your Help.
Well here it goes. This Thursday there will be an important fund raiser. It will be a $ 20.00 open bar at the Gin Mill (details below).
Who is this fund raiser for you may ask and why? Very good questions.
Its for me.
It seems that although I am very adept at marketing, PR, public speaking, business development, making people laugh etc. I am lousy at picking women. As a result my ex-girlfriend whom I haven't seen in 3 months broke into my house and stole one of my brand new Bauer XXXX ice skates and one of my Reebok Inline skates leaving me with two left hockey skates one for ice and one for inline. Essentially two left feet - excuse the pun.
How do I know it was her? Another good question. The only other thing missing from my home was an old set of keys to her apartment that I had. She has been confronted and the police have been called, but the reality is that I am never going to get the skates back and the case is next to impossible to prove. As you can imagine this was heartbreaking as the only other love in my life besides my daughter is playing hockey.
As you know I had facetiously declared this the Summer of Martin and it seems that someone has tried to stop that; well that's not going to happen. This is the Summer of Martin and I need your help to make it a reality by coming out and drinking for a really cheap price.
